Shirley Ann (Lacy) Bennett, age 74, died Monday, July 18, 2022, at her home in Clayton, New Mexico.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 22, 2022, at the Clayton Church of Christ in Clayton, New Mexico with Clay Lobley officiating. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery in Clayton, New Mexico by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Shirley Ann (Lacy) Bennett was born on November 15, 1947, in Ada, Oklahoma to Fred Harrison Lacy, Jr. and Maudie Luevada (Phillips) Lacy. Shirley married S. A. Bennett on November 18, 1995, at the Clayton Church of Christ where they were both members and he preceded her in death on November 1, 2014. Shirley was a member of the Federated Women's Club and the Extension Club where she was currently serving as the President. In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was preceded in death by a son, Bennie Featherston a granddaughter, Hailey Ann Dismore and by two brothers, Bob Alva Lacy and Billy F. Lacy.

DAUGHTER: Jeanie Dismore and her husband Steve of Arlington, Tennessee.

3 GRANDCHILDREN: Griffin, Lacy Ann and Lynzie.
