Shirley Oldfield, age 77, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 in Amarillo, Texas.

Funeral Services were held at 4:00 PM on Monday, June 18, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Clayton with Rev. Jay Jones, pastor officiating. Burial followed in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Shirley Oldfield was born on February 22, 1935 in Boise City, Oklahoma to John Arnold Neuenschwander and Irene Mae (Hillegas) Neuenschwander. A lifelong resident of Union County, Shirley married Billy Max Oldfield on August 10, 1952 in Clayton, New Mexico and he preceded her in death on September 5, 1997. Shirley was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clayton.

SURVIVORS:

3 DAUGHTERS: Sharon Hudson and her husband Malcolm of St. Louis, Missouri, Cheryl Ketchie and her husband Robert of Houston, Texas and Sandra Wilkes of San Antonio, Texas.

2 GRANDCHILDREN: Kandice Wilkes and Meghan Wilkes both of San Antonio, Texas.
