Stacye Witt Bradley, age 52, died on Thursday, April 27, 2023, in Clayton, New Mexico.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the First United Methodist Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Pastor Terrell Jones, pastor of the Trinity Fellowship Church in Clayton, officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery in Rye, Colorado by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Stacye Witt Bradley was born on November 14, 1970, in Denver Colorado to Henry Jesse Witt and Myrna Jean Witt.

She grew up in Southeast Colorado and Southwest Missouri. She graduated from high school in Walsh Colorado in 1989. She earned her Practical Nurse Diploma from Dodge City Community College in 1990 and received her Associate Degree in Nursing (Registered Nurse), from Regents College in 1997. She then went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2012.

She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness, compassion, and infectious laugher. Stacye was a woman of virtue, strong and selfless. She loved her family and her friends, but she loved her children, grandchildren, and animals more than anything. She enjoyed working in her beautiful yard, and loved her sports teams, with her favorite athlete being Tom Brady.

Living in Clayton for more than 30 years, Stacye worked in the healthcare industry. She was known for her dedication and ability to make those around her feel at ease, whether that be her patients, staff, or co-workers. Her hard work ethic and compassion rubbed off on those that worked alongside of her. During her career, she served as the Director of Nurses at Union County General Hospital for 20 years. During that time, she served on numerous boards such as the Department of Health and Emergency Preparedness Region III Board, New Mexico Organization for Nurse Leaders Region II Board, Local Emergency Planning Committee Board, and Clayton-Union County Chamber of Commerce Board. Stacye was an integral piece of Union County General Hospital receiving designation as a Level IV Trauma Center.

Stacye loved her community. She was involved in coaching the Clayton Dance team and traveled with the team to various competitions. She advocated for her children during their years at Clayton School systems. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Stacye was preceded in death by her parents Henry Jesse Witt and Myrna Jean Witt, her first husband Trent Wallace and a sister-in-law, Lisa Witt.

SURVIVORS:

Her children: Taylor Wallace (Jayci), Paige Wallace, Aaron Bradley (Lavera), Abbey Bradley, and Karlee Bradley.

4 Grandchildren: Bo Bradley, Lukah Valdez, Zak Bradley, and Jax Bradley.

2 Sisters: Deborah Clark (Rod) and Rebecca Dunn (Brant).

2 Brothers: Jay Witt and Danny Witt (Karen).

She is also survived by Ty Bradley, close friends Dana Maez and family, and Kim Speer, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
