Steve Albrecht, age 66, died on Saturday, October 28, 2017, in Dalhart, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 31, 2017 at Horizon Funeral Home in Dalhart, Texas. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart, Texas with Rev. Steve Patterson, pastor of Central United Methodist Church in Dalhart officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Steve Albrecht was born on October 25, 1951 in Guymon, Oklahoma to William "Bill" Albrecht and Rapaula (Johnson) Albrecht. He lived in Guymon for a few years and then they moved to Kentucky until the 1970's when he moved to Dalhart, Texas. Steve owned and operated Steve's Muffler Shop in Dalhart, Texas for many years and he served as a volunteer fireman with the Dalhart Fire Department for several years. Steve loved his kids and his grandkids. He was always willing to do anything for anybody that needed help, it did not matter what they needed. He was preceded in death by his parents.

2 DAUGHTERS: Krista Albrecht and Stephanie Jennings and her husband Bo all of Dalhart, Texas.

8 GRANDCHILDREN: Kazlyn, Hayden, Xavien, Hanna, Kortney, Ethan, Zane and Chance.

1 SISTER: Ronnie Jennings and her husband David of Dalhart, Texas.

1 BROTHER: Stan Albrecht of Dalhart, Texas.
