Steve Mayhan, age 61, died Wednesday, December 31, 2014 in Amarillo, Texas.

Steve Mayhan was born on April 27, 1953 in Pratt, Kansas to Carl H. Mayhan and Josephine (Beckett) Mayhan. He graduated from Boise City High School. Steve worked as a dispatcher for the Clayton Police Department for several years before moving to Amarillo where he worked for TransCor America transporting prisoners. Later he worked for the TSA at Rick Husband International Airport in Amarillo, Texas. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Carl H. Mayhan, paternal grandparents; Luther and Addie Mayhan and maternal grandparents; James and Josie Beckett and an infant sister.
