Steve Trujillo, Jr., age 65, died on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in Raton, New Mexico.

Viewing and Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 8:00 AM until 7:00 PM at Hass Funeral Home In Clayton. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Steve Trujillo was born on July 27, 1961 in Clayton, New Mexico to Steven and Tommie Trujillo. Steve worked for Clayton Cattle Feeders for several years. He was a family man and he cared deeply for his family and would do anything for his family and friends. He was very proud of all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved all of them very much. Steve was preceded in death by his father; Steven Trujillo, brothers, Robert “Tuggie” Trujillo and Joseph Anthony Trujillo, a nephew; Ron Trujillo, 3 nieces; Adrienne Trujillo, Miranda Trujillo and Rosie Trujillo, and his grandparents.

3 DAUGHTER: Stephanie Vital and her husband Misael of Bloomfield, New Mexico and Elizabeth Fernandez and Jessica Gonzales both of Clayton, New Mexico.

1 SON: Steven Trujillo of Marble Falls, Texas.

GRANDCHILDREN: Heaven Mangelsdorf, Jonathan Gonzales, Annabelle Padilla, Michael Padilla and Draven Stratton all of Clayton, New Mexico, Daisha Trujillo, Desiray Trujillo, Destiny Trujillo, Delayla Trujillo, Donaven Trujillo all of Marble Falls, Texas, Samuel Fernandez (Kenosha) of Indiana and Lucy Warrick and Liyah Vital both of Bloomfield, New Mexico.

GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Braedin, Jaxon, Olivia and Greyson.

HIS MOTHER: Tommie Trujillo of Clayton, New Mexico.

3 BROTHERS: Ronald Trujillo and his wife Teresa of Minnesota, Greg Trujillo and his wife Victoria of Boise City, Oklahoma and Albert Trujillo and his wife Alicia of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

4 SISTERS: Kathy Trujillo, Stella Trujillo and Vickie Trujillo all of Clayton, New Mexico and Patricia Trujillo of Satanta, Kansas.
