Theresa (Yeargain) Valdez, age 51, died on Tuesday November 16, 2021, in Raton, New Mexico.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 22, 2021 in the Des Moines Cemetery in Des Moines, New Mexico. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Theresa (Yeargain) Valdez was born on October 9, 1970 in El Paso, Texas to Jesse Yeargain and Helen (Argenbright) Yeargain. She grew up in Des Moines, New Mexico and graduated from Des Moines High School in 1988. Theresa attended cosmetology school and then worked as a cosmetologist for a few years. She later worked with the Clayton EMS for a few years before she had to stop working for health reasons. Theresa married Mark Valdez and he preceded her in death on February 14, 2017. In addition to her husband, Theresa was also preceded in death by her father, Jesse Yeargain on October 20, 2019 and by her maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.

1 Daughter: Ashlee Martinez and her husband Sean of Clayton, New Mexico.

2 Grandchildren: Lakin and Laci Martinez Clayton, New Mexico.

1 Sister: Lori Ann Navarrette of California.
