Thomas Dewane Beatty, age 53, died on Monday, October 2, 2023, in Clayton, New Mexico.

Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

Thomas Dewane Beatty was born on June 22, 1970, in Midland, Texas to Jimmy Dewane Beatty and Delinda Kay (Chancelor) Beatty. He lived all over the state of Texas and worked as a supervisor in the oil industry for many years. Thom Beatty and Marisol Valero "T-bone and Maudy" were together for 23 years and had two daughters. In recent years, Thomas had lived in Midland, Texas until March of this year when he moved to Clayton to be closer to his brother James Beatty. Thomas loved music and played the bass guitar in a few bands, and he loved spending time with his family. Thomas was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Dewane Beatty and by a niece Destiny Baxley.

2 DAUGHTERS: Desiree Skye Valero and her fiancé Jeffrey Hudnall and Kirsten Chase Beatty all of Midland, Texas.

HIS MOTHER: Delinda Kay Beatty of Greenwood, Texas.

3 GRANDCHILDREN: Jiovanni Angel Natera, Isai Ariel Natera and Nina Mae Beatty all of Midland, Texas.

1 BROTHER: James Beatty and his wife Tanya of Clayton, New Mexico.

1 SISTER: Melissa Mckinney of Greenwood, Texas.

And six nieces and nephews, Ashley Beatty of Midland, Texas and Tristan McKinney of Greenwood, Texas that were raised as siblings and Jimmy Ray Beatty of Amarillo, Texas, Elizabeth Beatty of Texline, Texas and James Scott Baxley, Jr. and Blake Cosby both of Clayton, New Mexico.
