Thomas "Tad" Lambert, age 74, died on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in Amarillo, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 15, 2021 at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 401 Harding Street, Clayton, New Mexico. Burial will follow in the Texline Cemetery in Texline, Texas by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Thomas "Tad" Lambert was born on June 8, 1946 in Beaumont, Texas to Richard Edward Lambert, Jr. and Minnie Lois (Crist) Lambert. Tom married Sherry (Marsh) Lambert on January 30, 1965 in Texline, Texas. They lived in the Farmington/Aztec area for 2 years where Tom worked as an auto mechanic, then moved to Gillette, Wyoming where they lived for 14 years and Tom continued working as an auto mechanic. They moved to Alaska for 8 years and Tom did offshore drilling in Cook Inlet and he worked on the Alaska Pipeline on the North Slope. They then moved to Kansas where Tom did iron work before moving to Clayton and he worked at the Prison in Dalhart, worked for McNaughten Construction and drove a school bus for several years. Tom's hobbies included flying, commercial fishing, scuba diving, woodworking and cooking. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Clayton. Together with his wife Sherry, they were very involved in mission work building churches and remodeling churches with La Vida Mission and Maranatha Mission. Tom was preceded in death by his father Richard Edward Lambert, Jr. on June 30, 1983, his mother Minnie Lois (Crist) Lambert on October 17, 2019 and a brother Richard Pruett Lambert on September 16, 2014.

WIFE: Sherry Lambert of Clayton, New Mexico.

2 CHILDREN: Thomas Lambert and his wife Brenda of Roland, Iowa and Melissa Fuhrman and her husband Steve of Nortonville, Kansas.

4 GRANDCHILDREN: Grant Fuhrman, Rex Fuhrman, Tyler Lambert and Cade Lambert.

2 SISTERS-IN-LAW: Virginia Dixon and her husband Arthur of Bedford, Texas and Neta Coulter and her husband Lloyd of Texline, Texas.

And numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
