Tressie Taylor, age 93 of Sedan, New Mexico, died on Friday, October 6, 2023, in Dalhart, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 16, 2023, at the Clayton Memorial Cemetery in Clayton, New Mexico with Rev. Billy Rammage, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Tressie Taylor was born on November 12, 1929, in Skellytown, Texas to William Idus "Jack" Miller and Goldie Odell (Dodd) Miller. She married Homer Lee Taylor on September 17, 1948, in Sedan, New Mexico and he preceded her in death on December 18, 2005. Tressie served as the Postmaster in Sedan for forty years. In addition to her husband, Tressie was preceded in death by her mother on November 16, 1996 and by her father on March 9, 1952.

1 SON: Sidney Taylor and his wife Mary of Sedan, New Mexico.

1 DAUGHTER: Linda Adams of Dalhart, Texas.

3 SISTERS: Joy Beamer and her husband Loren of Sedan, New Mexico, Clarisa Edgerton of Dalhart, Texas and Brenda Copeland and her husband Earnest of Santa Rosa, New Mexico.

1 BROTHER: Scotty Miller and his wife Mary Evelyn of Nara Visa, New Mexico.

4 GRANDCHILDREN: Christie Wood and her husband Daniel, Deborah Maldonado and her husband Josh, Matt Adams and his wife Jennifer and Dusty Adams and his wife Stephanie.

4 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Cooper Wood, Quinten Wood, Mason Adams and Taelor Domstead and her husband Ryan.

2 GREAT-GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Thorin Jon Domstead and Jennica Rae Domstead
