Vera Leola (Webster) Crumpton, age 74, died Monday, January 30, 2012 in Amarillo, Texas.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M. Mountain Time on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Trinity Fellowship Church in Clayton with Rev. Terrell Jones, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in the Texline Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
Vera Leola (Webster) Crumpton was born on September 20, 1937 in Dumas, Texas to Burlin Webster and Lois (Dow) Webster. She married Pete Crumpton on February 9, 1963 in Clayton, New Mexico. Vera worked as a waitress and was a Girl Scout leader in Texline for several years, She later worked as a secretary for Valley Irrigation in Dalhart. Vera and Pete operated a sprinkler business for several years and Vera drove a shuttle van for the railroad in Texline. In addition to her parents, Vera was preceded in death by a brother; Jim Webster.

2 DAUGHTERS: Rhonda Holman and her husband Johnny of Sedan, New Mexico and Burla Austin and her husband Rick of Texline, Texas.
1 BROTHER: Bud Webster and his wife Pat of Silver City, New Mexico.
1 SISTER: JoDena Gonzales of Mason City, Nebraska.
9 GRANDCHILDREN: Opie Lindsey and his wife Amanda of Texline, Texas, Dawn Conner and her husband Steven of Slatton, Texas, Gay Lee Massarotti and her husband Jim of Trinidad, Colorado, Crystal Jackson of Flatonia, Texas, Rayne Arnold of Texline, Texas, Cora Fields of Pampa, Texas, Nathan Holman of Texline, Texas, Christina Pogue and her husband Michael of Amarillo, Texas and Erika Badillo and her husband Erik of Dalhart, Texas.
