Virginia Furman, age 67, died Thursday, September 20, 2012 in Amarillo, Texas.
Graveside services were held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, September 24, 2012 at the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.
Virginia (Davis) Furman was born on November 2, 1944 in Modesto, California to Claude Davis and Claudia (Spradlin) Davis. She married Daniel Furman on November 3, 1962 in Ceres, California and they lived in California until 2005 when they moved to Clayton. While in California, Virginia and her mother operated a nursing home and later she operated another nursing home with a friend. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and by 1 brother, James Davis and 1 sister, Joann Davis.
SURVIVORS:
HUSBAND: Daniel Furman of Clayton, New Mexico.
2 SONS: Dan Furman, II and his wife Sandy of Littleton, Colorado and Dion Furman and his wife Judy of Clayton, New Mexico.
2 GRADDAUGHTERS: Athena Furman of Littleton, Colorado and Monique Furman of California.
2 BROTHERS: John Davis and his wife Carrie of Clayton, New Mexico and Dennis Davis of San Diego, California.
