Memorial Services were held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 25, 2011 in the First United Methodist Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Pastor Randall Floyd, Pastor of the Clayton Assembly of God Church and Pastor Mark Honeycutt, pastor of the Clayton Church of God, officiating. He was laid to rest at the Grenville Cemetery following the services at sunset to celebrate his life. Services were under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

William David "Bill" Bullard was born on October 7, 1931 in Thomas, New Mexico in a two room dug-out to Ralph Osbourn Bullard and Clara May Hight. He attended school in Thomas, Clapham, and graduated from Clayton High School in 1949. He worked for the state highway department after graduation for several years. He then worked at the filling station as an attendant for several years where he met Connie Sue Weese. They were united in marriage at the Old Ft. Jordan on July 6, 1964. They moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico for three years, upon returning to Clayton he took over his fathers mail route to Kenton, Oklahoma which he continued to drive for 44 years. He proudly lived his life faithfully serving the Lord. He loved spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids. He is proceeded in death by his parents, two sisters Polly Bullard and Edith Bechtel, two brothers Junior Bullard and Richard Bullard, and one granddaughter Aimee Wolffarth Humphreys.

2 BROTHERS: Tiny Bullard and his wife Caroline of Clayton, New Mexico and Bob Bullard and his wife Roberta of Capitan, New Mexico.

1 SISTER-IN-LAW: Maryann Bullard of Clayton, New Mexico.

2 DAUGHTERS: Sharon Honeycutt and her husband Mark of Clayton, New Mexico and Janet Wolffarth and her husband Randy of Carlsbad, New Mexico.

2 SONS: David Bullard and his friend Bryon Smith of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Russell Bullard and his wife Bonnie of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

9 GRANDCHILDREN: Jarrod, Micah, Makenzy, and T-Bird Wolffarth, Brianna, Russell and Ryan Bullard, Cassandra Martin, and Jordan Honeycutt.

7 great-grandchildren and numerous in-laws, nieces nephews and many friends.
